It should be legal to share (upload/download) warez on the internets, leave it to people themselves wether they think it's good enough to support the creators. Plus it levels social classes since everyone would be able to get it, the rich would be able to support the creators of the software more than the poor.
It's not like the industry can hold this concept back anyway. This is basically how it was for years already unless you're a complete computer illiterate and don't know how to download torrents, download from usenet, copy dvd's from friends, etc.
Just felt like writing this since it totally explains the whole deal (in my view) in a few lines. |

Some pics from my SpikeFlail HNM LS events. Finally 5/5 on WHM AF2! AF2 itamwhoring stats: 4/5 on NIN AF2, 4/5 on SMN AF2, 2/5 on THF AF2, 2/5 on BST AF2 I think (I'm lv62 ;p) and Koga Sarashi from Dynamis-Valkurm. I like it in the LS, I can make myself sorta useful and don't feel too much pressure of being at events all the time.
Note on recent Tiamat fight, Tiamat went yellow for a little cos 1 or 2 people died. Zan LS tried and failed grabbing it from us saying we wiped. I don't have to explain they're fucking retarded I guess so I'll leave it at that.
I didn't have time to dive into the whole ZNM thing much though I've helped with some of the LS fights on that and it's pretty cool. I'll focus on levelling clothcraft from 96 to 98 coming time, then I'll start on trying to HQ my own Blessed Trousers +1. I'd level BLM37 > 75, but no time for it really. ;/
On another note, Mcclane's account is now expired since he didn't have any much motivation left to play. I'll keep playing ffxi like I am now. |
